Out in the Silence  is a documentary film that captures the remarkable chain of events that unfold when the announcement of the filmmakers same-sex wedding in his small hometown newspaper leads to a firestorm of controversy and a plea for help from a gay teen. The associated Out in the Silence Community Engagement Campaign is helping to bring a message of fairness and equality to schools, places of worship, small towns and rural communities across the country. Produced with the support of the Sundance Documentary Film Fund and the Pennsylvania Public Television Network.

Narrated by international swimming legend Diana Nyad (National Public Radio), TRAINING RULES examines how women s collegiate sports, caught in a web of homophobic practices, destroyed the dreams of many of its most talented athletes. Specifically, the documentary examines the Penn State s women s basketball program under 26 year veteran Rene Portland. She had three rules in her program: No drinking, No drugs, No lesbians. After years of discrimination documented here, Portland was sued by a player and Penn State was forced to confront the issue.

Lady Trojans is a documentary that explores love, heartbreak, sexuality, coming out and coming of age through the eyes of a lesbian high school basketball team in 1990’s Tucson, AZ.
Anna, a 5’11” forward, is the most valuable player on Catalina High’s Lady Trojans. She’s sixteen, blond, gawky and prone to tears. And she’s falling in love with Quinn, the tough, worldly center. Along comes Vanessa, another power player competing for Anna’s love, and Anna finds herself trapped in a turbulent love triangle . . .

U People is an incidental yet timely documentary. The first rockumentary of its kind presents an entire cast and crew of 30 gay, straight women and trans folks of color were caught on camera behind the scenes of a not so typical music video shoot. What the camera caught will introduces a hilarious, candid and very human voice into the discussion of gay and straight within the black community.
